Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Tabled (“Tabled,” “the Club,” “we”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, submitting a founding application, or using tabled.club (the “Service”), you accept these Terms, our Date Credits & Wallet Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Cookie Policy, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. Membership is personal and non-transferable. We require identity verification before full membership is activated and may decline or revoke membership at our discretion to protect the community. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee: we do not conduct criminal background checks on members. Use your own judgment — see our Safety page.

Paid plans (currently Member and Select) are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically each billing cycle at the then-current price until you cancel. Before you subscribe we will clearly disclose the price, the renewal cycle, and how to cancel, and we will charge only after your affirmative consent to those terms. You may cancel at any time online, using the same medium you signed up with, effective at the end of the current billing period; we send renewal reminders as required by law. Price changes take effect only after advance notice and apply to subsequent renewal periods. The Guest tier is free. The Coupled tier is free and is governed by the Wallet Terms.

In addition to cancel-anytime, we voluntarily extend the strongest state dating-service protections to every U.S. member: you may cancel a paid membership within 3 business days of first purchase for a full refund, paid within 10 days. You may also cancel with a prorated refund if you die, become physically unable to use the Service (with reasonable documentation), or move more than 50 miles from any Tabled city. Several states grant these or similar rights by statute for social-referral and dating services — including California (Civ. Code §1694 et seq.), New York (Gen. Bus. Law §394-c), and statutes in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Wisconsin — and nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable right you hold under the law of your state. Membership fees partly convert into Date Credits, and top-ups convert fully, as described in the Date Credits & Wallet Terms. Three rules are absolute: credits are redeemable only at partner venues; credits and any other funds can never be transferred between members; and no member may request, offer, or accept money or anything of monetary value from another member on or off the Service. Confirmed dates carry a small, platform-set commitment stake: a member who fails to appear is charged a no-show fee payable to Tabled, and Tabled separately issues a goodwill credit to the member who appeared. Stakes are never paid member-to-member.

Introductions are curated with the assistance of automated tools and human review; we make no promise of matches, chemistry, or outcomes. Chat and contact details unlock only after a date is confirmed. Reservations booked through Tabled are subject to the cancellation windows shown at booking. You agree to the Community Guidelines; violations — including harassment, commercial solicitation, compensated-dating arrangements of any kind, or requesting money from members — may result in immediate termination without refund of membership fees (your unspent purchased credit balance remains redeemable or refundable as the Wallet Terms and applicable law require).

You retain ownership of the photos and answers you submit and grant Tabled a limited, revocable license to host and display them to operate the Service (for example, showing your profile to members we introduce you to). You represent your content is yours, accurate, and lawful. We may remove content that violates these Terms. We never sell your content or use your photos in advertising without your separate written consent.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Tabled is not a party to interactions between members or between members and venues, and is not responsible for the conduct of any member or venue. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tabled's total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Most concerns can be resolved quickly: write to hello@tabled.club and we will work with you in good faith for 60 days. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Tabled agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and both sides waive class actions and jury trials, except that either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court and you may pursue public injunctive relief where the law preserves that right. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Arbitration procedures, seat, and provider will be specified in the arbitration notice we send on commencement.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the community. We may update these Terms with notice; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your state of residence grants you non-waivable protections.
